Investing in talent – MEININGER Hotels focuses on employee development

MEININGER Hotels continues its steady growth, expanding its presence in existing markets across Europe and entering new geographies. This scaling is supported by a strategic focus on digitalization and comprehensive talent strategies. The company currently has 1,270 employees, with plans to grow that number to 1,330 by 2025. To attract, develop and retain top talent in a competitive landscape, MEININGER is investing in employer branding, employee development programs and a new e-learning platform offering a wide range of training opportunities. Additionally, employees are encouraged to actively contribute to key areas such as sustainability and diversity, further enhancing the company's culture and appeal as an employer.

"After exactly a decade away from the industry, I am excited to return to hospitality and actively shape the HR strategy of MEININGER Hotels in such a dynamic and international environment. It is particularly important to me to foster a corporate culture that not only attracts talent but also retains it in the long term—through innovative initiatives that support employees, promote equal opportunities, and uphold environmental responsibility”, says Moreno Salinas about her new role.

With the appointment of Laura Moreno Salinas as Senior Director People, MEININGER Hotels underscores its commitment to the sustainable advancement of its HR strategy, aiming to future-proof the company in light of the ongoing skills shortage.
